ITRI Taiwan Internship Program 2026 (Fully Funded)

The ITRI Taiwan Internship Program 2026 is now open for applications. Offered by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), this fully funded international internship is designed for highly motivated and talented students from around the world who wish to gain hands-on research and technical experience in Taiwan.

Since 2006, ITRI has been hosting around 35 international interns every summer, making this program highly competitive. Selected interns work in cutting-edge research environments while benefiting from full financial support, professional mentorship, and global networking opportunities.

Introduction

The ITRI Global Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to work on real-world research projects under the supervision of leading scientists and engineers. The internship runs for 2–3 months between May and September 2026 and does not require any application fee. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and early submission is encouraged due to limited seats.

• Engineering & Technology

• Computer Science & IT

• Life Sciences

• Business & Strategy

• Related academic fields

Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized international institution.

Internship Coverage

The ITRI Internship Program provides comprehensive financial support, including:

• Monthly stipend ranging from NT$24,000 to NT$40,000 (based on academic level and expertise)

• On-campus accommodation at ITRI’s main campus

• Comprehensive health insurance coverage

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Open to all nationalities

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programs

• Must maintain full-time student status throughout the internship

• English proficiency required (No IELTS/TOEFL required)

• Ability to commit to full-time, in-person participation
