Eid Across the Globe

Eid-ul-Fitr is a three-day religious holiday celebrated at the end of Ramazan by Muslims worldwide. Different countries have their own unique traditions, rituals, and clothing for this auspicious day. Pakistan, UAE, Turkey, Indonesia, and Canada, all celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with fervor, zeal, and jubilation.

Eid celebrations vary across the globe. From rich vermicelli puddings in Pakistan to honeyed baklava in Turkey, Eid ul-Fitr unveils a mosaic of traditional foods, clothing, and rituals. In Indonesia, people visit their friends and relatives on the first day, while in the UAE many prefer to celebrate with traditional live music and festivals. The massive Muslim diaspora in Canada also partakes in lavish feasts and get-togethers to celebrate.
