PIA Losses Over the Years

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has faced financial troubles due to severe safety issues and has accumulated losses of billions of rupees. However, in recent years, PIA has faced severe financial and safety issues that have led to the accumulation of losses amounting to billions of rupees. Due to these problems and losses, the Pakistani government has decided to privatize PIA. However, the decision to privatize the airline has caused disagreements between different ministries.

The CEO of PIA has warned that if the airline is not restructured, it could face an annual loss of Rs 259 billion by 2030. This would further exacerbate the financial challenges the airline is already facing. Therefore, it is important for PIA to find a solution to its problems as soon as possible to ensure its sustainability in the long run.
