Imagine what would happen when technology, media, and politics are controlled by one man or one family. The modern-day geopolitics is more exposed to ordinary people than ever before. Political affiliations and media narratives are influencing public opinion. The world has now entered an era where information and cognition lead everything. What people can see, how they perceive, and what their behavior would be are now systematically controlled, or even owned, by some billionaires whose influence on war, narrative control, and public discourse has consolidated to an extent no one can imagine.
We often hear about the Roth’s Child family controlling the geopolitics, but what about those who are controlling individual behavior, from emotions to outcomes? This is none other than the Ellison family, now owning a vast network of media, tech, and foreign policy of the United States.

Who are Ellisons?
- Larry Ellison
An American tech giant and businessman, Larry Ellison, is the co-founder of the Oracle Corporation. In the late 1970s, he worked on a project for the CIA – an ambitious mission to create a massive, centralized database. The codename for the project was “Oracle.” From that classified contract, Ellison built Oracle into a tech giant, worth hundreds of billions of dollars, supplying software and cloud infrastructure to governments and corporations around the globe. Ellison is not just a tech billionaire anymore; he is becoming the “AI Data Guy.” Ellison became the richest person in the world on September 10, 2025, after the price of Oracle stock rose, and his net worth was estimated at $393 billion. He is also considered to own 98 percent of the land of Lanai, the sixth-largest of the Hawaiian Islands.
- David Ellison
David Ellison, Larry’s son, is the owner of Skydance Media, a film production company that has released a number of films, including Terminator, Transformers, and Mission Impossible. His movies were largely financed by his father. He is a good pilot, an aviation enthusiast, and also a competitor in aerobatic flying events. Skydance is now among the most powerful independent production companies in Hollywood thanks to its leadership.
- Megan Ellison
Larry’s daughter, Megan Ellison, is another prominent figure of the Ellison family. She is an American film producer who founded Annapurna Pictures in 2011. Contrary to David, her film productions were quite successful and became the most respected producers in contemporary independent cinema. Her famous projects include Zero Dark Thirty, Phantom Thread, and American Hustle. She was an executive producer of Nimona, which was nominated for Best Animated Feature.
Major Deals by Ellisons
Larry’s Oracle Corporation is not just a tech company. From the very start, it was tied to intelligence work and national security. It is based on the idea that data is the ultimate source of power. Oracle’s reach is deepening rapidly.
- The company now provides cloud storage for OpenAI – the maker of ChatGPT – and is pouring half a trillion dollars into building ten gigawatts of AI Infrastructure in the US over the next four years.
- In 2020, Oracle, under the first Trump administration, signed a deal with TikTok, providing it oversight rights on the TikTok US user data under a security project named “Texas.”
- In recent times, David Ellison pulled off one of the biggest deals in entertainment: a merger with Paramount Global, which is the US-based media giant that owns America’s largest television network, CBS. CBS is not just a television network; it’s an institution with decades of influence over American public opinion.
- David also met with the Trump administration to make sure Skydance’s $8.4 billion deal to take over Paramount and its flagship network, CBS. In the meantime, under the Trump 2.0 administration, Stephen Colbert’s long-running late-night show – one of CBS’s most politically outspoken programs – was suddenly cancelled in 2026. Colbert has criticized the CBS network for paying Trump a $16 billion bribe.
- Likewise, in January 2026, the Trump administration conducted a deal with TikTok, providing more than 80 percent stakes to giants like Oracle.
- As of February 2026, David’s Skydance-Paramount signed a $110 billion deal to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, which is a leading global media and entertainment company based in the US.
Ellison-Zionism Nexus
Here, the interesting thing is that Larry Ellison and his family are great proponents of Israel and have identified themselves as Zionists. In 2014, Ellison gave a donation of 10 million dollars to Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF), a nonprofit organization with its headquarters in the United States that finances support programs and infrastructure guidance to Israeli military personnel. Similarly, in 2017, he again donated 16.6 million dollars to FIDF for their infantry brigades.
The friendship between Larry Ellison and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu goes beyond political alignment to an intimate personal association. Among the most publicly visible signs of this relationship was a vacation by Netanyahu, along with his wife, at Ellison’s Island in Hawaii. Ellison’s claimed involvement in Netanyahu’s legal defense plan is even more significant. Ellison purportedly pressed Israeli millionaire Arnon Milchan to give up the services of well-known lawyer Boaz Ben Tzur, who was then representing Milchan in a different case, so that Ben Tzur could represent Netanyahu in his defense, as reported by The Times of Israel and Haaretz.
Ellison’s connection to Netanyahu is further emphasized by the fact that he is one of the 333 potential witnesses in the corruption trials against the former prime minister that the Israeli attorney general has named. Having one’s name on the witness list has both practical and symbolic effects. It makes the public case that Ellison may have important insights into the interpersonal, political, or economic forces at work and is not just a passive backer or contributor.
The debut of a massive subterranean cloud data center in Jerusalem served as proof of Oracle’s strong connection to Israel. The project was presented by Larry Ellison as a demonstration of love for the nation as well as a way for him to express his gratitude. Oracle’s website in Israel provided a clear message of support for the Israeli government during the October 2023 Hamas attacks and subsequent Israeli military campaigns in Gaza, condemning terrorism and offering all possible assistance.
Possible Implications
- US tech firms under the control of one family mean public data privacy is under strict oversight.
- One family would decide what people can watch, read, and say – and maybe even how you behave.
- Controlling media means controlling public nerves. Ellisons now own the majority of mainstream media platforms, where they can disseminate biased information, influencing not only the US public but also people all around the globe.
- Strong relations with President Trump and other like-minded US politicians mean that US domestic and foreign policy is shaped by billionaires.
- The pro-Israel and pro-Zionism inclinations of Ellisons provide Israel with deep penetration into US domestic politics and public-private institutions.
- Resultantly, Ellison’s control of the US means Israel controls it.
