On the consumption side, demand is driven largely by developed and emerging economies, with the United States topping global consumption, alongside Brazil, Japan, and Russia. This flow from farms in the Global South to cafés in major cities worldwide highlights how the coffee trade connects economies, cultures, and daily routines across continents.
