Have you ever thought that a country boasting a beautiful tourist place is not allowing its own citizens to visit it, or if allowed, then with extreme restrictions? Yes, India has been doing that for a very long time. Where do Israeli soldiers go after killing innocents in Palestine? They directly come to India. To Goa, Himachal, Dharamkot, Pushkar, and Kasol, also known as the ‘hummus trail,’ which is built around Israeli backpacker culture. Every year, 30-50,000 Israelis travel to India. India is one of Israel’s biggest getaway destinations. These are not usual journeys; rather, these are state-sanctioned and military-approved detox trips that the IDF is taking to India. Israel also calls them the post-army ‘big trip’ for their soldiers to disconnect from what they have done in Gaza. Let’s delve into the critical analysis of exactly what is going on in Northern India.
Israeli Enclave in India
Hostels in Dharamkot are covered in stickers and flags glorifying IDF units active in Gaza. Goa hosts raves and drug parties. Dharamshala has an Israeli enclave called “mini-Israel.” In Pushkar, shopkeepers speak Hebrew, restaurants serve Israeli food, and menus rename their dishes after Israeli tastes. Basically, India has become a rehab center for IDF soldiers committing genocide in Gaza. Even though these Israeli soldiers are war criminals, the Indian government is actively hosting them. This is because India had never signed the Rome Statute. It can’t arrest foreign soldiers accused of genocide.
Along with this, India is closely associated with the Israeli armament industry because it has been reported that India spends about 3 billion dollars a year on Israeli missiles, drones, and surveillance equipment, which is a byproduct of testing on Palestinians in Gaza. Likewise, the same Islamophobic vision is shared by both India and Israel under the leadership of Modi and Netanyahu, respectively. The former are adhering to Hindutva ideology, and the latter are spreading extreme zionist ideologies in their nations.
Parvati – The Little Israel
Every year, hundreds of thousands of young Israeli soldiers enter the mountainous region of India, Kasol. The natural beauty of Parvati Valley, feasible access to drugs, and an area located far away from local Indian residences altogether provide a haven to Israeli soldiers. These IDF soldiers residing in Kasol include active and retired personnel. But the astonishing fact here is that a significant number of these soldiers are associated with Israel’s cyber intelligence agency – Unit 8200. Approximately 80% of businesses in Kasol are run directly or indirectly by Israelis. This valley has been hidden and shrouded in silence to the extent that nobody in the world could precisely know what is really happening in the valley.
Kasol receives people of both nationalities, who come to buy hashish and psychedelic drugs. These drugs are also very popular among the Israeli soldiers. Both Indians and Israelis promote drug culture there with full zeal and zest. In Kasol, every shop is the manifestation of Israeli culture, presenting signboards in Hebrew. The cafes play only Hebrew music, and it is inscribed on the entrance of every shop or restaurant, ‘Indians are not allowed.’ Moreover, some media reports are highlighting that Israeli PM Netanyahu has approved a plan to bring back the Indian Jews, with reports of resettling them in Gaza – a demographic alteration.
Strategic Significance
Kasol is located at a strategic position. It is located at the intersection of three big regions. Kashmir is to its northwest, China to the east, and to the south, the nerve center of the Indian Army, Shimla and Manali. The loss in the 1926 war and the 2020 Galwan skirmish demonstrate the fact that India lacks the military superiority and infrastructure depth to engage the Chinese military forces, particularly during winter. China asserts that approximately 90,000 km² of land in Himachal and Arunachal Pradesh belongs to southern Tibet. It is here in the same region that Kasol is located.
Viewing these vulnerabilities, India requires a strategic partner in this region. In the east, China, and in the west, Pakistan, open a two-front war, which is a strategic vulnerability and the biggest fear for the Indian Armed Forces. Thus, Kasol provides an ample opportunity for India, where Israeli forces maintained their forward presence. Under the guise of tourism, the IDF can provide cyber support, real-time information, intelligence, and espionage technology to India against the PRC. This is the prime reason that the Modi government has long been promoting Israeli tourism in the Parvati Valley and, in particular, in Kasol.
Mossad House in Kasol
There is a special building in Kasol known as the ‘Chabad House’ with an Israeli flag hoisted on its roof. Apparently, it is considered to be the spiritual and cultural center of Israelis. But the media reports and judicial records unveil that these Chabad houses are used as Mossad’s covert networking points. The Coastal Digest report stated that in 2012, a suspicious Israeli couple living in Chabad House was spotted in India. Locals reported that this couple was involved in some covert activities, and their lifestyle was suspicious and different from the others. The media accused them of being Mossad’s agents. Similarly, Turkish agencies have exposed that these Chabad houses in Cyprus are the epicenter of Mossad’s covert subversions under the guise of tourism and real estate.
According to a 2023 report by the Jerusalem Post, when there was a large-scale deployment of Israeli troops in Gaza, a large number of so-called ‘Israeli civilians’ left Kasol for Israel. Remember that it was the time when thousands of Israelis fled their homeland due to fear of war, and these civilians living in Kasol deliberately travelled back to Israel. This proves the fact that these people were none other than the IDF personnel, who became a need of time for Israel to continue its attack on Gaza. Thus, Kasol’s Chabad house is not a worship place. This is an intelligence unit – a joint center of RAW and Mossad for future wars. In July 2020, India and Israel signed an agreement, “Operational Collaboration on Cyber Security,” under which Israel’s covert intelligence Unit 8200 trained many Indian officers.
The strategic collaboration between the two ideologically extremist countries is not only creating hurdles for the Muslims of the world but also destabilizing the regional security and stability. India, which suppresses every voice that talks about justice, freedom, and rights, and Israel, which is not only an example of riots, massacres, and destruction in every corner of the world but is also so ruthless that it even drops bombs on unborn children, both of them are now pursuing the same path. Thus, Kasol is no longer an ordinary hill station. It has become a forward intelligence base where both RAW and Mossad are preparing for a permanent war in the region. The military and intelligence collaboration between India and Israel against China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan is no more a hidden fact.
