In the Global Destination City Index by Mastercard survey, cities of countries in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East dominate the rankings. Bangkok leads with with over 22 million visitors, while both Paris and London follow closely behind with over 19 million visitors each.

Global Destination City Index by Mastercard survey shares the most visited cities in the world that have garnered the most attention from foreign travellers. Bangkok, officially Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, is Thailand’s capital that boasts the most visitors, 22.78 million and counting. Paris claims second place, with over 19 million visitors, followed by London, Dubai, and Singapore.
