With 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Kamran Hashmi is an expert on Geopolitics, Maritime Security, and Strategic Affairs. He has a keen interest in the Indian Ocean Region with deep insight into the dynamics of the Indo-Pacific Strategy and regional transformation due to cooperation agreements such as QUAD, I2U2, AUKUS, BECA, LEOMA, etc. Currently, he is associated with the National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA) as a Senior Researcher.
